Makefern is run by Nuno Mendes, a sole trader in Portugal. Contact: hello@makefern.com. These terms cover makefern.com and every maker on it.
Using the site
You may use what you make for any personal, classroom, party or commercial event, and you may print as many copies as you like. You are responsible for the words you put into it.
Themes and word lists
Our themed word lists are provided as starting points. Edit them freely.
No gambling
The bingo maker makes printable cards for games and learning. Don't use it to run gambling where that's not legal.
Your content
Everything you type stays in your browser; we never receive, store or publish it. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use the words and pictures you put on your cards.
Purchases
If you buy Pro, the sale is made by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment, invoices, taxes and refunds under its own terms. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days, no questions asked.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. We aim for it to work well, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features at any time. Check what you make before printing it.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by content you add, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (zero if you use the free version). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, gross negligence or death or personal injury, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update the date above. Changes never take away anything you already paid for.
